Se dio a conocer la lista de los nominados a los Premios Eisner de este año, algunos de los datos interesantes son:
* Daredevil obtuvo la mayor cantidad de nominaciones: 6
* El segundo trabajo mas nominado fue Jim Henson’s Tale of Sand con 5
* Marvel y DC Comics obtuvieron 11 nominaciones cada una mas 2 compartidas.
* En DC Comics la mayoria de las nominaciones fueron para iZombie y The Unwritten.
* Este año no hubo nominados a la categoria de Mejor Artista de Pintura/Multimedia, no hubo suficientes trabajos en esa categoria.
* Se agregaron categorias para dividir trabajos para jovenes lectores, se dividio en categorias de trabajos para lectores menores de 7 años, de 8 a 12 y 13 a 17 años.
